Exhibitors
The 4th annual National Black Book Festival is
scheduled for June 10-12, 2011 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Downtown
Houston and is sponsored by Cushcity.com, one of the leading Web sites
promoting African-American literature.
This 4th annual event will include the following features:

● Spoken Word Poetry Slam ● Workshops and seminars
● A reception and two breakfasts ● On-site author radio interviews

The 2011 Festival will be marketed nationwide to over 1,100
Black book clubs, 25,000 book readers and 100 libraries. In
addition, national and local media will be apprised of the event.
Authors may obtain a draped table during the Festival. Author
tables include two chairs, two badges (for an assistant, if needed) and
table signage. Authors will be
grouped according to genre for easy navigation through the Festival
space for readers.

Author Tables
Author tables are available at the early-bird rate of only $250.00
(effective thru Dec. 31, 2010) and tables tend to sell out months in
advance. A $50 deposit is required
to reserve a table, but the remaining balance of $200.00 is not due until
March 31, 2011. Incremental payments may be made in the interim,
if desired. The author/vendor packet should be downloaded and
reviewed by all authors who reserve tables, and is available here:

Once the $50.00 deposit is made, the author's name and link are added to
the NBBF web site and remain there until June 15, 2011, which provides
the author with months of free exposure. Tables
tend to sell out months in advance, so keep this in mind when making
your deposit. NBBF also accepts a limited number of
non-book/small business vendors, who may also utilize this option.

Publisher Exhibits
Publisher exhibits are available at the early bird rate of only
$500.00 (effective thru Dec. 31, 2010). A $250 deposit is
required to reserve a publisher exhibit and the remaining balance of
$250.00 is not due until March 31, 2011. Incremental payments may
be made in the interim, if desired. Publisher exhibits include a
12' x 6' draped and skirted table space in a premium location for the
Festival, 4 chairs, 4 vendor badges and table signage. The
publisher/vendor packet should be downloaded and reviewed by all
publishers who reserve tables, and is available here:

Corporate/Institutions
Corporate/institutional exhibits are available at the early bird rate of only
$650.00 (effective thru Dec. 31, 2010). The standard rate is
$850.00 and goes in effect January 1, 2011. Corporate exhibits include a
10' x 10' exhibit space, which can accommodate a modular corporate
exhibit or NBBF can provide the draped and skirted table space in a premium location for the
Festival. Corporate/institutional exhibitors receive 6 chairs, 6 vendor badges and table signage. The
coporate vendor packet should be downloaded and reviewed by all
entities wishing to reserve exhibit space, and is available here:
