  Exhibitors

The 5th annual National Black Book Festival is scheduled for June 8-10, 2012 at the Doubletree Hotel in Downtown Houston and is sponsored by Cushcity.com, one of the leading Web sites promoting African-American literature.  This 5th annual event will include the following features:

●  Workshops and seminars                                                ● A reception, a breakfast, and a Sunday brunch

The 2012 Festival will be marketed nationwide to over 1,100 Black book clubs, 25,000 book readers and 100 libraries.  In addition, national and local media will be apprised of the event.

Authors may obtain a draped table during the Festival.  Author tables include two chairs, two badges (for an assistant, if needed) and table signage.  In addition, authors who register with tables will receive one (1) ticket to the Saturday Get Acquainted Breakfast on June 9 @ 8:00 a.m.  Authors will be grouped according to genre for easy navigation through the Festival space for readers.

Small Business/Educational Institution Tables
NBBF accepts a limited number of non-book/small business and institutional vendors.  Vendor tables are available at the standard rate of only $400.00 (effective thru March 31, 2012) and tables tend to sell out months in advance.  Tables are located in a premium location in the Festival foyer area.  A $200 deposit is required to reserve a table, but the remaining balance of $200.00 is not due until March 31, 2012.  Incremental payments may be made in the interim, if desired.  The small business/institution vendor packet should be downloaded and reviewed by all vendors who reserve tables, and is available here:

Publisher Exhibits
Publisher exhibits are available at the standard rate of only $700.00 (effective thru March 31, 2012).  A $350 deposit is required to reserve a publisher exhibit and the remaining balance of $350.00 is not due until March 31, 2012.  Incremental payments may be made in the interim, if desired.  Publisher exhibits include a 12' x 6' draped and skirted table space in a premium location for the Festival, 4 chairs, 4 vendor badges and table signage and 4 tickets to the Saturday breakfast.  The publisher/vendor packet should be downloaded and reviewed by all publishers who reserve tables, and is available here:  http://www.nationalblackbookfestival.com/publishers.pdf

Corporations
Corporate exhibits are available at the standard rate of only $850.00 (effective thru March 31, 2012).  The late registration rate is $1,050.00 and goes into effect April 1, 2012.  Corporate exhibits include a 10' x 10' exhibit space, which can accommodate a modular corporate exhibit or NBBF can provide the draped and skirted table space in a premium location for the Festival.  Corporate exhibitors receive 6 chairs, 6 vendor badges and table signage.  The corporate vendor packet should be downloaded and reviewed by all entities wishing to reserve exhibit space, and is available here:  http://www.nationalblackbookfestival.com/corporate.pdf
