  Debt-Free College Financed With Scholarships
Workshop Presenter:
Gwen Richardson
Entrepreneur, NBBF National Coordinator, and Author of 101 Scholarship Applications: What It Takes to Obtain a Debt-Free College Education
Saturday, October 24 @ 11:00 a.m.

Gwen Richardson has successfully mastered the art/science of financing college debt-free with scholarships. Her daughter graduated in May 2018 from an out-of-state university with zero college loan debt. Her entire college education at $30,000/year was financed with scholarships and grants.

This seminar will cover the following topics:
* What is the best time to start researching scholarships?
* What is the most important information about a scholarship offer?
* How can you increase the student's odds of scholarship award?
* How much money can a student/parent raise through scholarship acquisition?
* What information and documents are needed to submit with scholarship applications?
* What are some scholarships you can apply for RIGHT NOW?

Gwen Richardson publishes the book 101 Scholarship Applications: What It Takes to Obtain a Debt-Free College Education, which was nominated in 2015 for an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Literary Work. A revised edition of the book is published in January of each year. The 2020 edition will be available for sale before, during and after the workshop.
